Folks
I have only a short list of contacts for this mornings event so please feel free to forward my note to the team involved.
I would just like to say that I think that the Fun Run this morning was probably the best organised, most innovative and enjoyable event that I've ever had the pleasure of being involved in. And what a great cause!
Every single one of the Woodrush RFC lads loved it and I am certain that we will be back in force next year when I have no doubt you will double your numbers.
Everyone at the club hopes that you met your financial target ( or exceeded it - the Almighty smiled on you with the elements too so we hope that will have helped).
As Roy knows I have benefitted from being a Scout at Tidbury Green (Wythall). Your efforts to ensure future generations of local kids gain similar life enhancing experience are to be greatly applauded.
Your hard work has undoubtedly paid off. Thank you for offering us the opportunity to be involved.
Well done to you all.
Keith Bagby
Please pass my thanks on to all for organising a great event.
My family (ages 3-34) all took part in the fun run and completed it between 9mins and 13 min. I was proud of them and they loved their medals.
Looking at the 5Km I wouldn't have embarressed myself in that either (around 25mins (if I'd done it)). Maybe next year.
Really looking forward to next year, especially if you choose to run the schools comp. Did you do it this year?
I've spoken with Caroline Powell about some ideas for organising the school run and have others. One would be to let schools know as soon as possible. I was still a little vague this year and then ran out of time to sort anything. Hollywood would have done really well.
Maybe I'm shooting myself in the foot here and find very little time attend meetings, but don't mind putting myself forward as an email contact for next year. When you have a meeting for next year, I don't mind bringing a schools persective even if only by email.
Again well done for organising a great event, emphasised by the great weather.
Martin Ryan (Hollywood)
Neil, Pete, Lou, Tina, Claire, Kaz Roy, Nicky Caroline,
I would just like to say what a fantastic day, everyone enjoyed themselves.
The organisation was spot on. I know how much time and effort you have all put into this and it certainly paid off with a brilliant, enjoyable and fun day.
It really is appreciated. When the announcement came of the loud speaker about the Police Dog Display( which I thoroughly enjoyed)
John Johnson said blimley they have got everything! We will be having the motor bike pyramid next!
A fantastic achievement.
Looking forward to the next one!
Kind Regards
Sue and Lance
